The position(s) would be located on a customer site in Tysons, VA.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of virtual machines and cloud concepts, as well as experience with planning and executing cloud environments in AWS.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to grow with a dynamic team of engineers and developers.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing of cloud environments in AWS.
Engineer may work with team members on projects often more than one project at a time.
Lead Cloud Engineers and Developers as needed in design, implementation, and administration.
Assessment for cloud readiness of environments and applications and best course of action, ie lift and shift, re-factoring, or re-engineering.
Assessing, developing, and implementing for containerization and management of containers.
Implementation of security controls such as logging, restricting access of users and resources, etc.
Manage continuous integration and deployment in cloud environments.
Remain current on AWS services as well as which services are FedRAMP and DoD approved.
Troubleshoot localized and system-wide errors/problems in a precise and timely manner.
Job Requirements:
Deep understanding of Virtual Machines and core Cloud concepts.
Concepts include scalability, pay for what you use model, shared responsibility, etc.
Computer Science or similar Bachelors degree, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience in a related IT Field (6 years).
2-4 Years experience with cloud technologies and provisioning.
Over 10 years experience in cybersecurity.
Top Secret W/Full Scope Polygraph.
Experienced with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix Server.
Capability to design and provide design reviews for enterprise systems.
Ability to communicate with leadership effectively as well as educate on emerging technologies.
General understanding of Azure services and/or other cloud service provider offerings.
Deep Understanding of Amazon Web Services.
Understanding of its basic and advanced services such as:
EC2 Lambda SNS SQS S3 RDS/Dynamo DB VPC IAM and custom JSON policies CloudTrail Cloud Watch Guard Duty Organizations and their service control policies Interconnectivity between services Securing communication between services Billing analysis via single account or consolidated billing Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of network structure and components:
Subnets Switching (basic switching knowledge) Routing (basic routing knowledge) Load balancing (basic understanding) OSI Model TCP/IP Strong understanding of IT security principles, such as:
Role based access Multifactor Authentication Access Lists Firewalls Encryption Bastion Hosts Ability to create compliant environments for standards such as:
NIST 800-53 Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow, XACTA and Continuum.
Fluent in English.
The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
Desired Certification AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/AWS Solutions Architect Associate/AWS Certified Developer Associate.
Preferred, not required Understanding of programming concepts.
JSON scripting experience.
Python language familiarity.
Ruby language familiarity.
Deep understanding of AWS services and their interconnectivity.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
