ResponsibilitiesPosition Description:
Seeking an Officer Development Coordinator (ODC) to execute and manage developmental activities for staff across multiple training enterprises, both internal and external to the organization.
The ODC will be responsible for serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for staff development programs, interfacing with the Corporate Learning Elements for student enrollment, tracking staff qualifications, interfacing with commercial, DoD, and IC training providers, registrar duties, and student administrative coordination.
The ODC will work with other staff to identify courses that meet mission requirements and facilitate enrollment.
ODC will be responsible for scheduling and de-conflicting training evolutions with other entities and developing long term training schedules for internal and commercial vendor training.
ODC will serve as the focal point regarding training support for staff.
ODC will attend Corporate Learning Council meetings with staff and be able to represent equities of the organization as required.
Additionally, ODC will be responsible for updating and populating online resources.
ODC will also manage procurement and issue of personal equipment issued to staff during training phases as needed.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and/or facilitate staff attendance at external training.
Identify internal course offerings with relevance to organization and/or areas of customer engagement.
Populate website with relevant staff development information regarding courses and programs.
Provide strategic outreach and interface to external training resources and identify course offerings with relevance to organization.
Schedule and advise staff for attendance at courses required to meet staff training needs.
Assist management represent organization to internal meetings focused on learning (eg, Corporate Learning Council).
Manage recommendations for enrollment into organization sponsored learning programsServe as a primary course registrar:
Register/manage courses organized/taught/sponsored by organizational elementEnsure course credit is provided for any courses organized/taught/sponsored by organizational element.
Track contracts with training vendors and advise management of budget and contract status.
Manage databases of staff qualifications and respond to various corporate taskers and data calls.
Serve as the focal point for the corporate sponsored on-boarding course for new employees.
Procure equipment to support training requirements and personal equipment, as required, for staff during appropriate training phases.
QualificationsRequired
Qualifications:
Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
Ability to perform strategic program management for a complex learning program or imitative to include identifying and addressing obstacles to program completion, assessing impact on recourses and schedules, and ensuring program/project integration with overall corporate curriculum/strategy.
Ability, in consultation, with SMEs, to ensure the application of current instructional design principles, theory, and research to design, develop, and update learning materials.
Ability to oversee learning-associated programs, creating strategies to address learning and performance needs and challenges; making defensible judgments that address learning program and performance priorities, recommending effective courses of action.
Knowledge of leadership, learning, and professional development practices within the organization of the larger establishment.
Demonstrated program management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated knowledge in resource planning, program, and contract management skills to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize project activities ensuring work meets all requirements on schedule.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
