As a Managing Consultant in CrossCountry's Technology Solutions practice, you will provide technology strategy, implementation and support services to both large multi-billion dollar enterprises and emerging growth companies. Our expertise is in cloud or software-as-a-service (SaaS) technologies that support the back office functions - Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and HR. As a Managing Consultant on our team, you will help our clients navigate the selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of a Financial System (i.e. Workday, Intacct, HostAnalytics, etc). Qualified candidates will possess a high level of experience and expertise in implementing one or more modules within a Financial System, such as General Ledger, Billing, Receivables, Procurement, Payables, Expenses, and Asset Management. Using this prior experience, you will provide clients with the necessary functional/technical aptitude to configure and transition the product to meet business requirements and design specifications.
Primary Objectives
Participate in the advisory, planning and implementation of financial systems (i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Intacct, HostAnalytics, Hyperion, etc.) by documenting requirements, mapping processes, gathering system data and converting data into format required for integration
Work with client and CrossCountry team members to scope and clar ify require ments
Communicate effectively with clients to convey project findings, updates and recommendations
Create presentations that effectively inform and influence clients
Scope conversion requirements, execute data migration activities, and support end user validation activities from existing Legacy system to new system
Lead team mem bers to achieve agreed upon time lines for deliverables, while creating team culture and delegating effectively
Implement performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
Expand relationships within client organization
Anticipate, escalate and propose solutions for service and quality issues
Set deliverable structure and content while producing client-ready deliverables
Confidently and credibly propose solutions to problems and improvements to clients' existing processes/plans
Identify and deploy approach for projects that require sophisticated analysis
Help project team resolve complex and/or multi-faceted issues
Desired Experience

years of industry and/or consulting experience
Functional/technical proficiency with implementation of at least one module within a Financial System solution (i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Intacct, HostAnalytics, Hyperion, etc)
Finance or accounting background with knowledge of Balance Sheet/General Ledger/Sub-Ledger concepts preferred (Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Intercompany transfers and allocations, AP, AR, trial balance data, General Ledger, Billing, Procurement, Expenses, and Asset Management)
Experience in designing and facilitating setup and configuration of one or more modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, trial balance data, Billing, Procurement, Expenses)
Experience working to develop and format data to meet the require ments as defined by system rules
Experience defining system strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, data conversion and implementing business process improvements
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams and clients, make an impact, and provide excellent client service
All Positions Require:
5-7 years of consulting experience with Big Four or equivalent organizations (Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, IBM, Accenture, Oracle). This background is a critical differentiator among interested candidates
Techno-functional blend of training/experience with knowledge of at least one Financial/ERP System ((i.e. Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Intacct, HostAnalytics, Hyperion, etc.)
High energy, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit!
Professionalism and discretion in interacting with executives and clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of accounting and finance processes

Education
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in management information systems, accounting information systems, business, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, systems, or other technical discipline.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
