Prin Systems Engineer

Designs, defines and implements complex total system requirements. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Required Skills and Education
Must be knowledgeable in computer systems, hardware, and data architecture, gathering/identifying requirements, and developing an architectural solution. Must be knowledgeable in life-cycle support and methodologies, including maintenance, administration, management, and reporting. Knowledge of theories, principles, and practices in system engineering. Strong knowledge of current technology trends, potential for the application of current and emerging technology solutions to meet customer requirements. Ability to produce program plans, integrated schedules and executive briefings. Knowledgeable in life-cycle support and methodologies, including maintenance, administration, management, and reporting. Knowledgeable in computer systems, hardware, and data architecture, gathering/identifying requirements, and developing an architectural solution. Previous experience Architecting, Developing, Deploying IT solutions. Experience leading personnel on technology solutions.
