Job Description:
A Financial Services Client requires an experienced SAS DataFlux consultant to develop data flows/mappings from a variety of source systems (40
internal source systems. The consultant must have the ability to provide best practices and Expert-to-Expert guidance in regards to SAS DataFlux implementations. The consultant must have experience with SAS Data Management Studio (not Data Integration Studio). SAS DataFlux Web Studio is a plus.
The consultant will be focused on automating controls related to data validation (comparing source to dependent target), data reconciliation (comparing 2 independent sources), and data quality (evaluating a target based on Completeness, Validity and Reasonableness rules).
Manage the SAS DataFlux resources of the organization. Ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security. Job scheduling, workspace structures and user resource/space administration and tracking. Administers SAS DataFlux servers and aides in optimizing and trouble-shooting environment. Improves SAS DataFlux servers' performance through diagnostics and tuning tools.
Data Architecting and Data Modeling design experience is preferred.

Job Requirements:
Must have SAS DataFlux experience (Data Management Studio / DataFlux Web Studio is a plus).
Advanced SAS Programmer, with SAS knowledge and experience, including Base SAS programming, DATA step, SAS Macro language and SQL programming.
Ability to access and query data (SQL acceptable), manipulate and produce reports
Data Architecting and Data Modeling design experience is preferred.
Ability to communicate complex ideas, provide side-by-side knowledge transfer, and train users and technical people of all levels.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, high-level design, Solution architecture and general application development and implementation methodology.
As appropriate, utilize DataFlux features to inspect data for errors, inconsistencies, redundancies, and incomplete information--and then correct, parse, standardize, identify, match and cluster data.
Experience working within an environment with multiple servers would be a plus.
Knowledge of, and experience with, DW / BI concepts, applications, and supporting data structures.
Possess the ability to manage complex projects with little direct supervision.
Be customer focused; and have good oral and written communication skills.
Communicate the business value of data integration and data quality solutions, and assist the client in defining and achieving their business goals.
Understand and translate the client's business requirements into workable technical solutions.
Complete testing and QA, and prepare required documentation.
Provide presentations to / with the client as required.-
