Job Title: IT Contract Specialist PSI-0302
Employment: Temp-to-Hire (5 months)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop supplier selection criteria, and work with stakeholders on statements of work and amendments.
Develop complex Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) for competitive bidding, and communicate terms to prospective suppliers.
Work with key stakeholders in rating competitive bids. Evaluate supplier responses, mitigate risks and make final recommendation to key internal stakeholders.
Negotiate and execute contracts and terms and conditions for Information Technology (IT) services and hardware.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree mandatory.
6-10 years experience with the full procurement cycle, working in Purchasing, Commercial Contract Negotiation and Supplier Management environments.
Extensive experience with IT services, Software as a Service (SaaS), Consulting services and/or Professional Services commodities required and experience in Financial Services is a plus.
Strong communications and contract negotiation skills and experience working with Legal and business owners to structure optimal statements of work and related contracts.
Demonstrated success in establishing, managing and leading contract negotiations.
Ability to manage multiple contracting and projects and effectively deal with a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Experience in driving customer satisfaction through proven, measurable contracting results while balancing controls and mitigating risks.
Experience performing detailed analyses of data. Performing supplier financial analyses.
Experience in reporting, the use of MS Excel spreadsheets and other MS Office programs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
