The Conceptual Copywriter maintains awareness of the latest advertising and marketing trends in the finance industry and advertising in general.
Collaborates with client on marketing angle.
Understands how to present a unique sales proposition.
Writes copy for online ads, print ads, and collateral materials.
Can facilitate internal client groups in brainstorming.
Helps with scoping a project.
Brainstorms with Designer or Art Director to develop ad or collateral ideas
Does or directs mock ups.
Works with a Designer or Art Director to develop ad ideas and mock ups.
Presents creative ideas to clients.
Works with clients directly on projects assigned to them.
Works with creative lead on Copy intensive project.
Works with clients to plan content and marketing calendar when needed.
Web, mobile and social experience a plus.
6-8 years previous experience in a Financial services setting preferred
Agency experience preferred
Work samples should include the 5-10 samples you are most proud of that are relative to the financial industry. Some examples may include: Corp messages, Bank or Credit Card related copy, Health or Government programs (like FDA). Work samples must be presented at time of submittal.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
