Bowers Design Build, Inc.
is looking for an individual that will act as the conduit, or handoff point, between our in-house Architecture / Design team to our in-house Estimating / Production team.
This position acts as an internal consultant to our in-house team.
This is not an administrative position, but a position suited for someone with considerable residential technical project development experience.
Based on business growth, Bowers is looking to fill this role with someone that enjoys helping others, finding solutions and coming to closure on best way to build.

Looking down the road and identifying the steps and external contributors required for success (SE, grading, septic, well, power, VDOT, permits).
Have good follow-up skills to ensure all tasks come to full closure efficiently and effectively.
Work with the Design Team to accurately illustrate buildable plans and specifications that can be transferred to estimating and project planning team members.
Understand building materials and their properties to recommend or obtain recommendations for products for each project.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information to help with project development tasks.
Must enjoy researching and reaching out to trades, networking to obtain whatever information is required.
Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Skills:
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal team members, clients, material providers, and trade partners.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
Strong knowledge of best building concepts and practices.
Experienced at guiding projects through development and to the production team to build.
Excellent time management skills to meet task deadlines.
Strong attention to detail.
Site development experience a plus.
Experience with construction software programs a plus.
