What We're Looking For:
If you enjoy engaging with customers to look for gaps and creatively recommend solutions, then you will be excited about the Account Manager opening on our Government Sales team.
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to work independently to look for off-the-shelf uses of our products and services for our customers in the US government and the DoD.
What You'll Do:
Work independently to build relationships with operational proponents in the US government and the DoD in order to understand customer needs Play a key role in engaging with customers to educate them regarding additional ways to leverage their current Iridium products and services (i.
e.
, un-used features and enhancements) offered under their contract Use advanced knowledge to recommend new products and services to existing customer base Support the customer by playing a key role in facilitating the sales cycle of the EMSS program from purchase through approval and activation Engage Iridium partners to support and promote sales of Iridium products and services Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Iridium's internal processes and department to efficiently close the sales cycle Use familiarity of Iridium's distribution channels in the US government to explain how products and services can be acquired and apply to the specific mission Independently identify gaps and opportunities in products and services and communicate cross-functionally so that enhancements can be made; seek out gaps in the market Work collaboratively internally to shepherd longer sales cycle opportunities to the correct department Experience & Education Requirements / EEO:
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree 8
years of relevant account management or sales experience in the consumer communications or satellite communications industry Ability to leverage relationships in the US Government and/or DoD Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues to groups outside of your team or those who are unfamiliar with the topic Have confidence and be able to easily build relationships with leadership and colleagues outside of your team Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions and come up with out-of-the-box solutions Be proactive in providing feedback and be enthusiastic in sharing your knowledge with others Capable of prioritizing your own tasks and potentially the tasks of others while making sure deadlines are met Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:
Experience in sales of products and services to the military community Eligibilty for clearance preffered We'll also need you to:
Be able to travel up to 50% US Citizen required Work Environment:
This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office.
The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer.
The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer.
For meetings in-person, this position will need to be able stand, walk within the office and climb stairs on occasion.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
