Datawiz is looking for an experienced Finance Manager with 7
years of relevant experience.
The right person will have demonstrated experience with financial reporting and forecasting, corporate general ledgers, Deltek Costpoint, and government invoicing procedures.
The ability to manage the work of others and communicate effectively with executive level leadership are important requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities Oversee accounting and finance reporting functions for the corporate entity including cash management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
Perform regular account reconciliations from Costpoint general ledger and Project modules to identify financial impact and required accounting entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules and budgets that support the company's operations, financial planning, and strategic objectives.
Provide financial forecasting and ad-hoc analysis for project managers and leadership to review financial performance.
Oversee financial statement audit and tax return preparation with external accounting firm.
Address financial internal controls, compliance, and government reporting requirements.
Communicate regularly and effectively with internal stakeholders, leadership, and team members.
Recommend and implement process improvements to create efficiencies in the accounting function.
Review and update accounting policies and procedures.
Required Skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.
Preferably in Accounting or a related field.
7
years of experience working in the government contracting industry.
Expert with Deltek Costpoint or other government contracting, accounting and invoicing systems.
Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate to advanced level MS Office skills, including Excel.
Detail-oriented, focused, and able to work independently in a timely and accurate manner.
Comfortable with setting expectations and articulating needs to team members.
Ability to provide knowledgeable oversight to direct reports and business partners that promotes a results-oriented, highly functional team.
