Job Description:
Leidos Health and Human Performance Division (HHP) is seeking Senior Addiction Specialist candidatesto work in Chantilly, VA or McLean, VA location to be determined by staffing need.
This is a very rewarding and challenging opportunity supporting our Military and Intelligence men and women and the challenges they face.
Leidos will consider sponsoring qualified individuals towards gaining the Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required for this position - minimum of an active Secret clearance is strongly preferred to be considered.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Provide Mental Health Care that provides assessment and consultation of a variety of disorders to include, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, impulse and addiction disorders, OCD and PTSD.
Provide addictions diagnosis, therapy and consultationEvaluate community treatment centers and assist in placing individuals in treatment as needed.
Provide individual case management.
Maintain complete, accurate, and current records of all services rendered, includes initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes and all other necessary documentationConsult with management and other medical staff as neededBasic
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Social Work or similar field and 6-8 years experience or a PhD and 2
years experienceMust posses LPC license OR Have AOD CertificationMust have or be able to obtain Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph.
At least two years of clinical experienceAbility to work through brief client contacts as well as to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral conditions.
Competency in providing cognitive and behavioral assessments and interventions to individuals, families, couples, and groups with behavioral health and/or substance use issuesExperience conducting assessments and clinical interviews to include documenting findingsStrong clinical abilities, and enthusiasm for a collaborative approach to treatment.
Excellent verbal and communication skills and detail orientedPreferred
Qualifications:
PhD preferredCurrent Top Secret Clearance preferred.
Heartbeat Naval Health East - NHEPay Range:
SDL2017.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
