Job Description:
The Leidos Intelligence Group has multiple part-time openings for experienced Group Exercise Instructors who possess Federal security clearances.
Instructors will lead Group Exercise classes as part of an occupational health and wellness program in support of a Federal Intelligence Community customer.
All Group Exercise classes are held Monday through Friday at a variety of times and locations throughout the Northern Virginia region (inside and outside the beltway).
Work hours are flexible, classes are held in the early morning, during normal business hours, and at the end of the day so that participating Federal employees have a variety of choices.
Instructors should be flexible in work location and be able to report to a variety of Federal sites throughout the Northern Virginia region.
Candidates must possess a current security clearance and must be willing to maintain their clearance for the duration of their employment.
The Group Exercise Instructor provides a variety of teaching and motivational styles to facilitate personnel achievement of fitness objectives.
He/she will design, lead, and facilitate group exercise classes at Federal buildings within the Northern Virginia region.
This includes but is not limited to:
Developing and instructing group exercise classes in formats consistent with industry trends and as approved by the program Chief,Preparing exercise room prior to the start of each class,Observing and teaching proper body mechanics,Encouraging participants to enhance their knowledge of exercise, body alignment, and exercise safety,Recording participant attendance at each class,Overseeing class at all times to ensure a safe environment for all,Providing substitution as needed for other instructors as neededOther duties as needed within the position's scopeCurrent, active Secret (or higher) security clearanceActive certification from one of the following:
American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE) National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), or another equivalent Group Fitness certification from a nationally-recognized credentialing authorityActive certification to teach specialty group exercise classes in one or more of the following disciplines:
Tai Chi, Zumba, Yoga, Kickboxing, Spin, Yoga, Zumba, Group Strength, Pilates, Barre, and/or other popular mainstream fitness classesActive Cardiovascular Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification3
years of practical experience conducting Group Exercise instructionPreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in an Exercise ScienceActive TS/SCI security clearancePay Range:
SDL2017.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
