Senior Monitoring Solutions Engineer

$135k - $163k plus 7% bonusLOCATION:
REMOTEThis role will focus on Logging Analytics Application Performance Management (APM) Infrastructure Monitoring on Cloud Perform Customization Configuration and Develop Scripts application systems and network performance monitoring open source and COTS in hybrid Cloud Elastic Stack Elk Dynatrace or similar APM toolsAs part of the company's return to the office pilot, all employees, contingent workers and visitors must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to be on-site unless they have an approved accommodation.
Your Impact:
Act as an authority to solution and deliver all monitoring and performance requirements for the organization in cloud environment.
Work with Network, Compute, VM and Storage administrators for routine operations such as performance tuning, updating baseline monitoring and assist in filling any gaps in monitoring.
Perform customization, configurations and develop scripts / interfaces as applicable to enhance monitoring capabilities.
Provide dashboarding and analytics solutions to customers based on requirements.
Interact with various business units and customers that includes Global Operations Center, Infrastructure & Platform teams, Application & Development teams to understand their monitoring, performance and analytics requirements and build blueprint for delivering solutions accordingly.
Seek opportunities for automation and integration of various monitoring tools and servicesTake work assignments from management but is expected to work independently to define, drive, and complete initiatives.
Research and recommend the standard methodologies followed in industry.
Evaluate technology standards, products, and the risks and benefits of technology introductionChampion technology and tools change that improves delivery processes.
Innovate, adopt and influence modern delivery practices in processes and tools.
Act as an agent for change regarding the new technologies and tools, promote top quality solutions and design, and tackle complicated issues related to performance tuning and scalability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's DegreeProven experience in application, systems, and network performance monitoring tools:
Open source and COTS in hybrid cloud environment.
Hands on experience managing, administering and solutioning tools like Elastic Stack - ELK, Dynatrace or similar APM tools, Riverbed Suite of tools or equivalent Network monitoring tools.
Communicate technology solutions to a diverse audience, including the business, architecture, infrastructure, and IT managementExperience working and delivering in an Agile environment.
Ensure that processes follow technical standards, documentation, and implementation procedures.
Strong System administration skills (Unix/Windows) .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
