Operations Systems Administrator
POSITION PROFILEThis is a technical operations position whose main responsibilities include advanced troubleshooting of customer and internal mindSHIFT issues related to customer services, systems, and related hardware/software.
Work in a distributed team environment to drive efficiency improvements through creative solutions using a variety of inter-connected tools.
Must be a team player, forward thinking, self-motivated and have a strong desire to make a difference in the company.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDiagnose and manage software and server issues escalated by NOC, Customer Care, and other mindSHIFT groupsPerform initial problem analysis, issue trending, and outage managementUtilize various tools for monitoring and testing all systemsAssist various teams with related requests and any other assistance that is requiredWork with vendors to resolve issues for customers with technical support contracts with said vendorsProvide timely updates to clients and internal staff regarding escalated issues and mission critical outagesProvide weekend and off-hours support, as neededProvide guidance to NOC, Customer Care, and Customer Engineers regarding technical issues related to Windows Server, mail delivery, network problems, and other supported technologiesInput and manage tickets through our SNOW systemGenerate documentation for processes in the NOC as neededMaintain client security levels and confidentiality of informationLearn and follow company policies and proceduresPerform in a fast paced, high volume environmentPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)2
years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
