Are you up to the challenge?Join a dedicated IT infrastructure team that is tasked with implementing new and exciting technologies that drive our business efficiencies and support our employees and customer revenue stream.Work with other technology and product leaders within the organization to create network and security infrastructure for their project initiatives.Formulate architecture for these in adherence to Intelsat s network security infrastructure, policies, and standardsManage and execute on the IT Infrastructure technology roadmap.Partner with internal and external teams on new projects and infrastructure evolution Work closely with Information Assurance team on vulnerability assessments, audits, forensic investigations, security incidents and execute remediations.Collaborate and knowledge share with internal and external IT external teams, establish and cultivate associations with vital customers and vendor contacts.Keep abreast of industry security trends and developments, as well as applicable government regulations.You should definitely have:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Systems, Engineering or equivalent degree10
years of IT experience5 years of people management experienceExperience maintaining technology portfolios and establishing rules of engagement with infrastructure & application teams.Experience leading project teams and other groups in the Enterprise in deploying infrastructure and related servicesIn-depth knowledge on Network and Security architecture, protocols, standards, and compliance requirementDemonstrable experience with Cisco IOS and Juniper or Palo Alto platforms and good understanding of respective best practice architectures and design principlesFamiliarity with enterprise security tools relating to end point protection, email, web and DNS security. In-depth knowledge on Security architecture, Security and network protocols, standards and compliance requirementsExperience formulating and developing dashboards incorporating relevant roadmap and operational metrics.This role is subject to ITAR; candidates must be a US Person (this includes US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Individual such as an asylee or refugee).It would be nice if you had:
Multiple network, security, and project management related certificationsExpert level understanding of converged network designs that include QoS and WAN optimizationExperience with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIPv2, MPLS, PBR, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP) Experience in managing geographically dispersed teams.
