Internal Communications Professional (Internal Communications Coordinator)

The Internal Communications group is responsible for creating, reviewing, and managing the internal tactics and channels that reach the entire 5,000
employee audience. We work closely with all areas of the company and with company executives to shape messages and produce communications that support the company's goals.
Job duties include:
o Working closely with the Internal Communications managers and other teammates, this person will help manage the daily and routine production tasks for the enterprise-wide internal channels of Freddie Mac, often handling time-sensitive and confidential information
o Writing and reviewing email announcements, helping to coordinate all-employee events such as town halls, providing live support at events, and working with others (e.g. designers) to create new deliverables
o Serve as back up for sending morning news email to all-employees
o Managing employee feedback channels by routing questions and information appropriately and researching or coordinating answers from subject matter experts
o Other duties may include writing stories for our intranet, taking photos of employees at events, and coordinating the review process for specific deliverables. Basic Requirements o Minimum of 2 years of related experience
o College Degree or equivalent experience
o Demonstrated excellent writing and editing skills
o High proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills o Excellent impeccable attention to detail
o Collaborative abilities and ability to take direction
o Strong time management skills
o Common sense and good judgment, highly reliable
o Diplomacy and professional maturity
